PREVIEWS
CYMRU NORTH
Due to the progress of so many Cymru North teams to the last 16 of the Welsh Cup, just two league matches take place this weekend.
Friday night sees Ruthin Town host Llandudno.
Ruthin have lost four on the bounce, while Tudno enter their latest test on the back of two straight wins.
Fourth-bottom Ruthin need the points, and with typical Town spirit we expect them to edge a tight decision.
Onto Saturday, Penrhycoch might have to settle for a home draw against a Guilsfield outfit which can be so unpredictable.
SCORECASTS
Ruthin Town 2 Llandudno 1
Penrhyncoch 1 Guilsfield 1
ARDAL NORTH EAST
Six Ardal North East games are scheduled for Saturday and a decent home banker is high-flyers Brickfield Rangers versus bottom team Llansantffraid.
Leaders Dolgellau can expect a tough battle at home to fourth-place Builth Wells, but the table-toppers should just nick it.
If Dolgellau fail to win, second-place Bow Street can capitalise with a win at Llanfair United.
Llangollen Town can overcome the challenge of Rhos Aelwyd at Tower Field, Chirk AAA are capable of grabbing a draw at Llanidloes Town and Kerry can complete a quick double over a Penycae outfit they beat 2-0 at home on November 9.
SCORECASTS
Brickfield Rangers 3 Llansantffraid 0
Dolgellau Athletic 3 Builth Wells 2
Llanfair United 0 Bow Street 3
Llangollen Town 2 Rhos Aelwyd 1
Llanidloes Town 1 Chirk AAA 1
Penycae 1 Kerry 3
ARDAL NORTH WEST
Friday night sees Connah’s Quay Town aim to avoid a fourth consecutive defeat when they entertain Corwen.
Undefeated in six leagie games, we take Corwen to pinch the honours.
Resurgent Rhyl 1879 should maintain their unbeaten record under new manager Paul Moore when fifth-bottom Nantlle Vale visit the Hops and Barley Stadium.
Llangefni Town should see off visitors Conwy Borough comfortably, while leaders Porthmadog look a good shout to win a testing tussle at Llannefydd.
Llanrwst United can ensure bottom side Menai Bridge Tigers’ run of games without a tier 3 win stretches to 15 games, but NFA can bag at least a draw at Pwllheli, whom they beat 1-0 at Derwen Fields earlier in the season.
Trearddur Bay are strong at home and can scoop maximum points at the expense of latest visitors St Asaph City.
