Exploring Different Types of Bets: DragonBet Tips

Single Bet

Like it says on the tin. The most common and straightforward type of bet, where you place a wager on a single event, predicting the outcome.

Double

This involves placing a bet on two separate outcomes in different events. To receive a return, both selections must win.

Treble

Similar to a double bet, but with three selections. All three choices must win for the bet to be successful.

Each-Way

An each-way bet is a two-part bet, where half the stake goes on the selection to win and the other half on the selection to place. This bet yields a return if the selection wins or is placed.

Typically each way bet places are:

1st – for 4 runner or less

1st & 2nd f0r 5-7  runners

1st 2nd and 3rd for 8 – 15 runners

1st 2nd 3rd and 4th for 16 and more runners

Accumulator

This type of bet involves combining four or more selections into a single wager. To receive a return, all selections within the accumulator must win.

Trixie

A Trixie bet consists of three selections and includes four separate bets: three doubles and one treble. At least two selections must win to guarantee a return.

Patent

 A Patent bet includes three selections and comprises seven separate bets: three singles, three doubles, and one treble. It is similar to a Trixie bet, but with the addition of three singles.

Yankee

 A Yankee bet involves four selections and consists of eleven bets: six doubles, four trebles, and one fourfold. At least two selections must win to receive a return.

Lucky 15

Popular among punters, a Lucky 15 bet encompasses four selections and includes fifteen bets: four singles, six doubles, four trebles, and one fourfold. Only one selection needs to win to guarantee a return.

Canadian

Also known as a Super Yankee, a Canadian bet comprises five selections and includes twenty-six bets: ten doubles, ten trebles, five fourfolds, and one fivefold. At least two selections must win for a return.

Lucky 31

A Lucky 31 bet involves five selections and comprises thirty-one bets: five singles, ten doubles, ten trebles, five fourfolds, and one fivefold. Only one selection needs to win to guarantee a return.

Forecast Bet

A straight forecast involves correctly predicting the finishing order of the first two horses in a race.

Reverse Forecast

A reverse forecast entails correctly selecting the first two horses in a race, regardless of their finishing order.

Match Bet

A match bet  is picking one selection to finish in front of the other – such as Team A to finish higher than Team B in the table, or horse A to beat horse B
