PREVIEWS
JD CYMRU NORTH
Having shattered the 100 percent record of Airbus in their last home game, Denbigh Town will be full of confidence heading into Friday night’s clash with Buckley Town at Central Park.
The teams have met twice already this season, Bucks recording a 3-0 triumph over Dewi Llion Jones’ side in the Nathaniel MG Cup before Denbigh gained revenge in style with a 6-2 victory at The Globe in the WBS League Cup.
Jake Walker could make his 100th league appearance for Denbigh on Friday night (145th total). He has recorded 59 league goals so far (94 in total).
Gresford Athletic will aim to build on Tuesday’s 1-0 win at Buckley Town in the Nathaniel MG Cup when they host Llanidloes Town on Friday.
Neither team has earned a league win in five attempts so far and both languish in the bottom three.
Bottom side Llandudno have lost all five league matches to date but will hope to buck the trend when they welcome Porthmadog to Y Morfa, Conwy. on Friday.
Saturday’s match of the day will undoubtedly be the battle of unbeaten sides when Flint Town United host Holywell Town in the Flintshire derby.
The Wellmen are top with a perfect result sheet of five straight wins, while Flint are third with four wins and a draw.
Hard to separate these two and by the final whistle both could still remain unbeaten.
Ruthin Town whipped Bangor 1876 4-0 in their last league game and look a good bet to continue that form when they take on Chirk at the Memorial Playing Fields.
Bangor 1876 ended a run of four straight losses with a 4-0 victory at Holyhead Hotspur in the Welsh Cup last weekend.
It will be a tricky test for 1876 at Caersws, who are fourth in the table and recently caned Ruthin 5-1 at the Recreation Ground.
Guilsfield will be on cloud nine after their midweek giant-killing of holders Bala Town in the Nathaniel MG Cup, but the Powys men face a very much in-form Mold Alexandra side when they travel to Alyn Park.

Llandudno 1 Porthmadog 2

ARDAL NORTH EAST
In winning form and scoring lots of goals, it is hard to bet against Llansantffraid running out handsome home winners over Llangollen Town on Friday night.
Leaders Bow Street have an impeccable log of four straight victories to protect and they are likely to be pushed hard by Llanuwchllyn, also unbeaten and lying fourth.
Cefn Albion have not hit the ground running as expected, but look a good shout to chalk up a home W against Llandrindod Wells.
Builth Wells can edge a tight one at Dolgellau, while Penrhyncoch should bounce back from their first defeat of the campaign at Llanuwchllyn a fortnight ago with a home success versus enigmatic Llanfair.
Radnor Valley should maintain their good start to life in Tier 3 with a home triumph against next-to-bottom Penycae.
Rhos Aelwyd have not caught fire at home yet, but they hammered Welshpool 6-0 at Ponciau Park in the WBS League Cup recently and can repeat the dose over the basement boys in the league on Saturday.
SCORECASTS
Llansantffraid Village 4 Llangollen Town 1
Bow Street 2 Llanuwchllyn 1
Cefn Albion 3 Llandrindod Wells 1
Dolgellau AA 1 Builth Wells 2
Penrhyncoch 3 Llanfair United 1
Radnor Valley 2 Penycae 0
Rhos Aelwyd 5 Welshpool Town 0
ARDAL NORTH WEST
Friday night’s action sees mid-table Flint Mountain entertain next-to-bottom Saltney Town at the Essity Stadium.
While the odds will favour Mountain, especially with home advantage, Saltney are a team of real battlers. They only just lost out 1-0 at high-flyers Llay last weekend and Flint will have to work hard to beat them.
Saturday’s game of the day has to be the meeting of second and first – Llay Welfare versus Llangefni Town at The Ring.
It was surprising to see Cefni beaten for the first time this season in the league last weekend, losing 3-2 at home to Llannefydd.
How will that have affected the confidence? Llay are really thriving under managers Mike Gadie and Steven Halliwell and the Wrexham-area team can shade this one.
Conwy Borough versus Brickfield Rangers has all the makings of a draw, while Llannefydd will not want to undo all the good work of their success at Llangefni when they host Felinheli, who are ecstatic to have landed a home draw against Cymru Premier Newtown in the next round of the Welsh Cup.
Nantlle Vale are strong favourites to win at Hawarden Rangers, who were deprived of a first three points last weekend by a Bethesda fightback in a 2-2 draw at the Gladstone.
Holyhead Hotspur and CPD Y Rhyl 1879 both crashed out of the Welsh Cup at home last weekend and will be targeting a bounce back when they meet in the league.
Neither side look to be at their best and it could end up a draw.
Llanrwst United v Bethesda Athletic could end up a corker with no doubt the prolific Callum Parry a key men for the Rwsters if available.
Promoted Pwllheli and St Asaph City have both began their Tier 3 campaigns pretty well. On current form, Saints can just gain the upper hand at The Rec.
