PREVIEWS CYMRU NORTH

Can league leaders Airbus gain revenge for one of only two league defeats suffered this season when they enterain Denbigh Town on Saturday?

Back in September, the Wingmakers went down 2-0 at Central Park and Denbigh have continued to perform well on their return to Tier 2, currently sitting fifth in the table.

However, Mark Allen’s side are undefeated in 16 league matches – 12 wins – and should have the edge over Town.

Second-place Holywell Town, on a nine-match winning streak, will aim to take advantage of any potential Airbus slip-up when they welcome Prestatyn Town to the Achieve More Stadium.

The Seasiders are improving all the time, but might have to settle for being second best against the Wellmen.

Bangor 1876 lost 4-0 at Ruthin Town early in the season. Can the fan-owned club turn the tables at Nantporth against the same opponents?

It could be close, but we back 1876 to pocket the points.

Buckley Town will be massively buoyed by last weekend’s away thrashing of Llandudno and should see off struggling Llanidloes Town at The Globe.

Flint Town United can earn maximum spoils at Caersws, Mold look a good shout for a win at Chirk AAA, Guilsfield have what it takes to pip Llandudno and improving Porthmadog might have to be content with a draw at home to Gresford Athletic.

SCORECASTS

Airbus UK Broughton 2 Denbigh Town 1

Bangor 1876 2 Ruthin Town 1

Buckley Town 3 Llanidloes Town 0

Caersws 0 Flint Town United 2

Chirk AAA 1 Mold Alexandra 3

Holywell Town 3 Prestatyn Town 1

Porthmadog 2 Gresford Athletic 2

LOCK STOCK ARDAL NORTH EAST

Despite picking up a midweek win over Llanrhaeadr, Llansantffraid Village will find it much tougher at home to Penrhyncoch, who should end up victorious.

Radnor Valley’s good form can continue against visitors Rhos Aelwyd, who lost miserably at home to Llanfair United last weekend.

Bow Street should get past Llangollen Town, while Dolgellau look good for at least a point at Builth Wells.

Llandrindod Wells versus Cefn Albion is a hard one to call, maybe a draw looks the best option, while Llanuwchllyn must be fancied for the honours at Llanrhaeadr.

Penycae and Llanfair United both had uplifting wins against the odds last Saturday. The Wrexham side should narrowly prevail over the Powys men.

SCORECASTS

Bow Street 4 Llangollen Town 1

Builth Wells 1 Dolgellau 1

Llandrindod Wells 2 Cefn Albion 2

Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant 1 Llanuwchllyn 3

Llansantffraid Village 1 Penrhyncoch 4

Penycae 1 Llanfair United 0

Radnor Valley 3 CPD Rhos Aelwyd 2

LOCK STOCK ARDAL NORTH WEST

After stunning home losses to Flint Mountain and Llangefni Town this season, leaders CPD Y Rhyl 1879 will be only too aware of the dangers Nantlle Vale pose at Belle Vue this Saturday.

The Lilywhites lost 4-2 at Vale in January and were beaten at home by the Penygroes side last season.

Rhyl will need to be at their best to claim a vital win and should just shade it – but betting against Nantlle can be a precarious business.

A real six-pointer is on the cards at Parc Meurig, where Bethesda Athletic host fellow strugglers Hawarden Rangers.

On recent form a draw looks possible, but we believe Pesda can pick up a narrow win.

Brickfield Rangers won 1-0 at Llangefni Town last weekend and Saturday brings a quick return match at Clwyedog Park. Cefni are inconsistent but capable.

Flint Mountain continue to scoop the wins as they bid to make a late title surge and there should be three more points in store at home to CPD Y Felinheli.

Holyhead Hotspur can overcome the challenge of Saltney Town, while Llay Welfare versus St Asaph City – second versus third – could be a lot tighter. Cannot back against Llay right now.

Home wins are the pick when Llannefydd and CPD Pwllheli welcome Llanrwst United and Conwy Borough respectively.

SCORECASTS

Bethesda Athletic 2 Hawarden Rangers 1

Brickfield Rangers 2 Llangefni Town 2

Flint Mountain 3 CPD Y Felinheli 1

Holyhead Hotspur 4 Saltney Town 1

Llay Welfare 2 St Asaph City 1

CPD Llannefydd 2 Llanrwst United 0

CPD Pwllheli 3 Conwy Borough 0

CPD Y Rhyl 1879 3 Nantlle Vale 1
